Dale Worley
Dale Worley has twelve years experience practicing and expressing the principles of New Thought. Although Dale has been more directly involved with the Unity movement during this time, he also incorporates an understanding of Science of Mind teachings, Native American spirituality, 12-Step principles, and the blessings of living in the present moment into Sacred Place Ministries.
Dale began singing and playing the piano around the age of eight, and some of his musical influences are Jerry Lee Lewis, Elton John, Bonnie Raitt, Ray Charles, Little Richard and Elvis Presley. Dale can "rock the house" as well as create a meditative and sacred mood with the music he presents. His did most of the work on "Great Big Spirit", his first CD of original songs, including songwriting, vocals, musicianship, production, recording, editing, mixing, mastering, graphic design, promotion and distribution.
From 2005 to 2007 dale was a member of the SpiritPath retreat team at Unity Village, and he has been directly involved in every aspect of retreat work, from budgeting, scheduling, negotiation, staffing and other administrative responsbilities, to the creative side of retreat work such as designing and leading entire retreat programs, faciliating workshops, supporting well-known presenters, and directing the retreat band. It is dale's joy to bring the full breadth of this enriching experience into the services that he offers through Sacred Place Ministries.
Dale is a graduate of the Unity Institute Personal Development Program, and is finishing the requirements for Licensed Unity Teacher status. He has completed one year of Science of Mind training with Rev. David Leonard at the Center for Conscious Living in Huntsville, Alabama, as well as completing the Prayer Chaplain Trainer's program under Rev. Lei Lanni Burt of Love and Light Ministries. Dale has also completed Cosmic Mass Intensive Training with Matthew Fox in Oakland, California and successfully led the production of a Cosmic Mass as part of the SpiritPath retreat calendar at Unity Village. He is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ottawa University in Overland Park, Kansas. Dale holds the intention of becoming an ordained Unity minister.
